Last December, guitarist Billy Howerdel’s tweets implied that the recent A Perfect Circle reunion was already finished. Well, it would appear that we all read too much into it. The supergroup has revealed (also through Twitter) that they will be playing more dates in North America this Summer, confirming that the reunion isn’t over. The tweet said the following:

“Stand by for the announcement of summer dates around North America.”

The band has already been true to its word, previously confirming two Canadian shows (including Toronto’s Edgefest) and just recently an appearance at this year’s Rock On The Range festival. Whether a full blown tour is in the works is still yet to be seen, though it seems somewhat doubtful since frontman Maynard James Keenan’s other band is currently in the studio recording a new album. But what is for certain is that A Perfect Circle will continue on into 2011. Now there’s a better chance for fans that missed APC’s limited first shows since reuniting to get to see them live. We’ll keep you updated when more dates and shows are announced. You can take a look below to see the shows that have been confirmed so far:

May 21-22 (which day not confirmed yet) Columbus, OH-Columbus Crew Statdium (Rock On The Range)

July 2 Gibbons, AB, Canada – Boonstock

July 9 Toronto, ON, Canada – Downsview Park (Edgefest)
