It’s always a gamble to believe in rumors. For example, we were excited when we heard about the LeeLifeson duo project which was instantly shot down by Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson. With that said, it comes to a point when we have to take these bits of speculated excitement with a grain of salt. Just yesterday (29), we were amped after discovering another rumor which involved thrashers Anthrax, Suicidal Tendencies and Overkill to embark a North American tour for next year. Sadly, it appears it could be a continuation from a two-year-old prank.

Anthrax revealed on social media that this rumored tour is not happening.

They made the following statement:

Hey guys – we’ve been reading about this tour that we’re supposed to be doing next year with Suicidal Tendencies and Overkill. While we love all those guys, we have no plans to tour together next year.

We’ve got all kinds of GREAT things that we’re planning for 2018, but this tour is not one of them.

Stay connected with us and we’ll give you the real info.

Anthrax”

What we can do now, is at least enjoy a brand new music video for the six-year-old song, “In The End” taken from 2011’s Worship Music. The video captures exactly how the song is presented live which, is one continuous heartfelt tribute to the late Ronnie James Dio and Pantera’s Dimebag Darrell.
