Byzantine announce tour, nearing end of crowdfunding campaign

Posted by on August 29, 2014

byzantineA few months ago, we caught up with OJ on the 20th anniversary of the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. The catch was that it wasn’t O.J. Simpson, but O.J from Byzantine, who mentioned the band were crowd-funding their new album. The campaign hadn’t launched a the time, but it’s been going strong recently, and the campaign ends on Monday. At 90% funded, it doesn’t have far to go, so if you liked the band’s amazing self-titled album that came out a few years ago, or were blown away by them at our CMJ showcase last year, help them get an album made!

Speaking of Byzantine and New York, the band have announced a tour that will  bring them there and nine other cities. It will be their first full-fledged tour in seven years. Thy Will be Done and IKILLYA will support, making it a pretty damn solid bill. Here are the dates booked so far:

10/23 New York, NY @ The Studio at Webster Hall

10/24 TBA

10/25 Dayton, OH @ Oddbody’s
