Byzantine is having a hell of a year. The band’s fifth album and second to be self-released, To Release is to Resolve was succesfully crowdfunded. Eagerly received by fans and critics alike, it rocketed to the top of CMJ’s Loud Rock chart, making it the most-played record at metal radio. And the good news is, if you’re anywhere in the Northeast in June, you’ll probably be getting a chance to see them live, as they’ve just announced a tour with Mobile Death Camp. Additional dates will be announced, but this is the most touring the band’s done for either this album or their last, self-titled one. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again – nobody beats the Byz!
