Every tour announcement is great and Clutch hitting the road with Corrosion of Conformity and The Shrine have to fall into your good side of news but what’s also great about this announcement is to see guitarist Pepper Keenan will be back in COC’s ranks during the entire trek.
As some of you may know, Keenan has been a member of COC since 1989 but hasn’t really been involved with the band these past 5 years, as he started focusing more on Down, but earlier last year, we had word that Keenan will be rejoining the band, starting with their UK tour this past March but finally it will be North America’s turn to witness the 1994 Deliverance lineup on stage.
In addition to the great news, Clutch will release a new track off their newest upcoming album Psychic Warfare set to be released this October 2nd via their own label Weathermaker Music. The song “X-Ray Vision” will be premiering on Billboard and Sirius XM’s Liquid Metal (Sirius XM channel 40) tomorrow July 29th.
