It wasn’t long ago that we encouraged metal fans in Dallas and Atlanta to get off their asses and buy tickets to the Death To All Tour in those markets. While it’s not apparent whether our gambit has worked, the show has been postponed instead of outright canceled, which is at least encouraging. The tour, which has seven former members of the band Death and the vocalists of Obscura and Abysmal Dawn on vocals, would like a must-attend even without openers Gorguts or Atheist. That, along with guest appearances from members of Charred Walls of the Damned, Testament, The Black Dahlia Murder, Forbidden and more, might not have been enough to sell out the House of Blues in Dallas, but unless the postponement is a bait and switch and the show actually gets canceled, news should pop of a smaller venue for the show, which was supposed to take place on July 3. No word on the fate of the Atlanta show yet.
