Deftones, Rise Against to tour?

While there’s no official word on it, and probably won’t be until at least Monday, it appears that Deftones and Rise Against will be touring together. Yesterday, Deftones posted a video of a Rise Against record spinning. If that wasn’t enough of a hint, they just release a 15 second trailer that shows the White Pony along with Rise Against’s logo with the above hashtag.

 

On top of that, they’ve definitely hung out before, as Rise Against singer Tim McIlrath has sung White Pony‘s “Passenger” with the band, covering the part that Tool’s Maynard James Keenan did on the album. Here it is from 2010.
