In a since deleted Tweet from a few days ago, it appears that Prong’s Tommy Victor may have revealed Ghost’s Papa Emeritus III. Along with a slew of other notable metal characters (Phil Anselmo, Glenn Danzig, Sean Yseult), it appears that Papa is present and without make-up.

Ghost played The Civic Auditorium in New Orleans on October 8th, while the “Blackest of Black” Tour (Danzig, Superjoint Ritual, and Prong) were scheduled to play there the next day. The Tweet (screenshot below) was posted at 3:14pm on October 9th, and Ghost was scheduled to perform in Atlanta, GA that night. Either Papa flew (it’s a 6+ hour drive) to Atlanta, or that time-stamp is wrong, or maybe that’s not really Papa at all! So much mystery!

Either way, Ghost is still out on tour with Purson, and the Blackest of Black tour continues to roll on for the rest of this month.
