We were pretty psyched about The Dillinger Escape Plan’s forthcoming tour with Trash Talk, Retox and Shining. And while that’s still nearly two months away, it’s been announced that they’ll be playing ten dates after that tour with Tera Melos and Vattnet Viskar. This is definitely an interesting lineup, as Vattnet Viskar are a black metal band (that played our CMJ party back in October) and Tera Melos are a proggy, jazzy trio  that traffics in math rock that aren’t particularly heavy. In fact, if you think about it, Dillinger’s openers are kind of the equivalent of one of their albums – extremely heavy with ambient math-rocky parts.
