It was back in March when Dragonforce announced Marc Hudson as their new singer. And now, after a two year absence, Dragonforce have announced plans to perform their first U.S. shows with Hudson. The band revealed that there would be an intimate show in Los Angeles already, but now the band has added New York City and Toronto dates to their October plans.

The three intimate Fall shows are billed as a chance for fans to see the U.K. power metallers up close in person with their new singer, as well as hear new music from the follow up to 2008’s Ultra Beatdown. So far, it appears that these will be Dragonforce’s only North American shows in 2011, while the band will also be performing in the U.K. and Hungary this August.

You can check out the North American dates Dragonforce have scheduled for this coming October below. In case you’re too impatient to wait for October to see them live, or simply would rather not travel to one of those three cities just to see Dragonforce in action, you can check out Marc Hudson’s audition video to see how he does filling in for ZP Heart up top.
