Faith No More’s recent Sol Invictus came out just a week ago, but that won’t stop the “what’s next?” question for the band. Mike Patton addressed the band’s future plans (or lack thereof) for later this year in an interview with Billboard.

Said Patton:

“An old man only looks to the next day,” the 47-year-old Patton said. “We’re old men.

“So what you do is, you look to the next day or the next plan, and, honestly, we don’t have a plan after this tour or this record.”

It seems, then, that the only plans for Faith No More are a European tour into late June, then they’ll return to the US later this summer for a few dates. Hopefully we won’t need to wait another 18 years until the next record!
