While details are still scarce, it appears that visa problems are preventing Godflesh from making it over to the States for their tour. The two-week run was set to start next week. There’s no official word yet, but the Oakland Metro Opera House posted a tweet yesterday saying “Looks like Godflesh didn’t get their visas. Thanx for keep our country secure government guys.” This isn’t the first instance we’ve heard of bands having visa problems in recent days, possibly due to the government shutdown. That’s pure conjecture on our part, but it seems like a logical conclusion. When there’s an official word, we’ll let you know.
