If you’re a fan of Ozzy Osbourne and Firewind’s Gus G., you’ve likely had his sophomore album Brand New Revolution. A highlight of the album is “What Lies Below,” which finds Amaranthe vocalist Elize Ryd on the mic. Now there’s a video out for the song, which features Ryd, because why just look at Gus G.?

In other Gus G. news, 2016 is going to find Firewind back in the spotlight, playing “selected live-activity.” The band has named vocalist Henning Basse (Metalium/Sons of Seasons) as their permanent vocalist. Basse had toured with the band in 2007, and most recently has been the singer of Gus’ solo band. This would also suggest that with Black Sabbath touring for the majority of 2016, it doesn’t look like Ozzy will be doing too much on the solo front in 2016, or if he is, it might not involve Gus. Granted, this is pure conjecture on our part, but he probably wouldn’t be playing that much out with Firewind if his boss needed him in the studio or on the road.
