This Friday (21), I Prevail will be releasing their first album, Lifelines. Even though it has yet to be released, they already have a gold record for their cover of Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space.” YouTube spins certainly helped things out, but the band’s EP sold a lot of copies based off the cover as well. But all the gold records in the world didn’t help them this past weekend, as their tour bus caught fire.

The engine of the bus caught fire just outside of Fresno. The band was able to escape without being injured, but they lost a lot of personal possessions in the blaze. Instead of starting a crowdfunding campaign, the band are just asking that you pick up a copy of their album when it comes out on Friday.
