Are you down with the clown? Ill Nino sure are, and they have a message for everyone that’s not happy that they’re playing the Insane Clown Posse’s Gathering of the Juggalos. In fact, in a message on their Facebook page, they yelled at people for not respecting their decision to play the annual festival, taking place in July:

SO MANY PEOPLE ARE SURPRISED THAT ILL NINO IS PLAYING THE “GATHERING OF THE JUGGALOS” MUSIC FESTIVAL. ILL NINO IS PLAYING THE “GATHERING OF THE JUGGALOS” BECAUSE THROUGHOUT THE YEARS, WE HAVE ALWAYS STUCK TO OUR GUNS, AND CREATED OUR OWN PATHS. WHICH IS ONE OF THE REASONS WE ARE STILL A BAND 15 YEARS LATER!! SINCE THE VERY BEGINNING WE HAVE TOURED WITH A WIDE VARIETY OF BANDS, FROM SLAYER, TO LINKIN PARK, TO KORN, TO AGNOSTIC FRONT! WE’VE CHOSEN TO PLAY TO ALL TYPE OF AUDIENCES, REGARDLESS OF CREED, COLOR, RELIGION, OR MUSICAL STYLE! WE ALL BLEED RED, “BLOOD IS THICKER THAN WATER”

So far, none of the other heavier bands playing have made any defensive statments, but according to theprp, Cannibal Corpse and Soulfly have felt the need to do so in the past.
