Judas Priest announce new album, ‘Firepower,’ 2018 tour

Posted by on October 23, 2017

As anyone that’s seen Judas Priest on the tour for Redeemer of Souls can attest, the band’s still got a lot of energy and vitality left in them. Guitarist Richie Faulkner has injected new life into the band, and iconic vocalist Rob Halford, even at 66, still has all the power and energy of many singers half his age. And in early 2018, the band will release their 18th album, Firepower. While not much else is known about the album, other than it will be out early next year, and was produced by Andy Sneap and Tom Allom. However, they’ll be mounting a tour in support of the album that kicks off on March 13th in Wilkes Barre, PA.

Saxon and Black Star Riders will be opening The Firepower 2018 tour, which will have a fan presale setarting this coming Wednesday (25) at 10am with FIREPOWER as the password,
