There have been some rumors floating around that the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival might not be happening this year. And while there’s been no formal announcement one way or the other, it appears that Killswitch Engage might have let the cat out of the bag by announcing that they’re going to be playing it. A Bandsintown notification on their Twitter account says that they’ll be playing the Palladium as part of the Festival on Saturday, April 16th.

That would be a great booking for the Fest, as KsE are pretty much synonymous with Massachusetts metalcore, and are a band that have had a history with the Festival. Factor in the fact that their album will have just come out, and that’s promising. We’ll stay on this and make sure to keep you up to date when we hear more.
