Lamb of God, Behemoth announce handful of off dates

Posted by on April 3, 2017

One of the best things about touring with a legacy band is that if it’s one of the more established bands that can afford to take a day or two off throughout a tour, that affords the younger bands opportunities to play off-dates and give some of their fans that might be in a secondary or tertiary market an opportunity to see a band in a smaller venue. We’ve seen that happen with Ghost and Iron Maiden, as well as Avenged Sevenfold and Volbeat playing some shows in between Metallica dates. The latest bands to announce a handful of off dates are Lamb of God and Behemoth, both of whom are on tour with Slayer.

Those three bands playing together is an amazing tour, but it’s not like any fans of Lamb of God or Behemoth wouldn’t want to see more music from both bands, who will likely have shorter set times on the Slayer tour since neither if headlining. So if you’re in Grand Rapids, Montreal, St. Louis or Salt Lake City, you’re in luck, unless you’re a gigantic Slayer fan.

7/17 Grand Rapids, MI @ 20 Monroe Live
7/24 Montreal, QC @ M Telus
7/31 St. Louis, MO @ The Pageant
8/18 Salt Lake City, UT @ The Complex
