Metal Blade Records been a breeding ground for metal since owner Brian Slagel founded it in 1982. Almost 35 years later, it’s grown into one of the most influential labels around. In honor to commemorate its history and anniversary, the label has announced a tour package with four of the more popular bands on it’s current roster. Whitechapel, Cattle Decapitation, Goatwhore and Allegaeon will be hitting the road starting February 22nd in Boston, Massachusetts and running through March 16th in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Whitechapel recently celebrated their 10th Anniversary overseas on the Impericon Never Say Die! European tour with a handful of bands including Thy Art Is Murder, Carnifex, Fallujah. Cattle Decapitation’s inclusion ensures that it’s going to be a brutal show, especially after having seen their recent run with Brujeria earlier this fall. Continuing to support their most recent album 2015’s The Anthropocene Extinction, they will most likely bring an onslaught of aggression. Goatwhore will hopefully be playing some new tunes for their upcoming seventh studio album that is still being worked on. And if you missed your chance seeing Allegaeon touring with labelmates Battlecross, consider this your second chance. Allegaeon released Proponent For Sentience back in September, so now is a good time to revisit  it!
