motorheadMotörhead fans can rest easily today, as the band’s guitarist Phil Campbell has has announced via the band’s Facebook page that Lemmy is “on the mend” and apparently they’ll be touring again once he’s back to normal. Then again, the band’s been given to making statements about Lemmy’s health that they weren’t able to back up.

Hey everyone out there. Better prepare yourselves big time, cos our mindblowing new record “Afterschock” will be coming out! Lemmy is on the mend and we are gonna be touring our asses off!!! Business as usual real soon!- Phil

Future tour dates had been uncertain following Lemmy’s recent health scare, a haematoma that forced the band to cancel numerous shows in Europe. While the band may have been underplaying the seriousness of Lemmy’s condition, the metal icon did admit to possibly ignoring doctor’s orders  following the incident. While Campbell has yet to indicate a set date for the album release, he remains fairly confident that the album will happen, instilling hope in Motorhead fans worldwide.
