Otep are currently working on their overall eighth full-length album, which is expected to arrive later this year via Napalm Records. The group have also announced an extensive North American summer trek that kicks off right after Independence Day on July 5th in Las Vegas, NV. We assume the new record will arrive just in time for the Fire and Fury North American tour, which runs until August 18th in Ventura, CA.
The group’s mastermind, Otep Shamaya commented:

It’s an uncompromising power-groove eruption of expert musicality destined to make some necks sore and spirits soar and with lyrical and stylistic freedoms which makes this feel like the most authentic album to date.”
