Pentagram recently completed their East coast tour without frontman Bobby Liebling and despite the skeptics, it was a success. We enjoyed watching fan footage of the event with guitarist Victor Griffin on vocals. The band shared an update last night (10) informing all that they will continue as a trio for their booked European shows. We don’t know how this will affect their appearance at this year’s Psycho Las Vegas festival in August but hopefully, they will continue regardless. The band informed an additional update on Liebling, stating he’d been admitted to a hospital on April 17th and transferred to a detention facility two days later.
The band stated the following on their Facebook and promised to provide additional updates at a later time:
“As was the case for the recently completed US shows, vocalist Bobby Liebling will not appear with Pentagram for previously booked European dates this summer.
To elaborate, Bobby called on April 17 saying he had been admitted to the hospital. He called again on April 19, this time after being transferred to a Maryland detention facility. He’s now awaiting a preliminary hearing at which time it will be determined if a follow-up on any alleged charges are necessary. An update will be published when information is available. The band will be fulfilling all currently booked appearances with 36-year mainstay guitarist Victor Griffin performing all vocals.
