Slipknot travels in style with their own jet

Posted by on June 15, 2015

This is how the big metal bands travel. Whether it’s a rental or not, it’s still good to see that a band like Slipknot can travel comfortably. And while it doesn’t appear as big as Iron Maiden’s massive Boeing 757, it’s certainly big enough to haul the nine-member band around – and then some.

As reported by Metal Injection, Slipknot’s Jim Root and Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil posted photos of the jet on Instagram. The two have been an item for 10+ years so it makes sense that the two were possibly traveling together, especially as both bands played Download Festival this past Friday, on June 12th.

Slipknot will play a few more shows in Europe before heading back to the states for their headlining run on their Summer’s Last Stand Tour with Lamb Of God, Bullet For My Valentine, and Motionless In White. That tour starts on July 24th and runs into early September.

And here we go… #itsafuckinslipknotjet
