With the All Stars Tour set to kick off on Friday, it appears that it might start without one of its bands. Toronto band Struc/tures were denied entry into the US. They’ve crossed the border plenty of times before, but as of yesterday, they were turned away. Here’s what the band had to say about it via their Facebook page:

We are sad to announce that we were denied access into the United States last night at the border. This is the first time we have ever been turned away from entering the US to tour in the 4 years of being a band, so this is very unsettling for us as it is a matter that is COMPLETELY out of our hands. We can promise everyone who was expecting to see us that we are doing everything in our power to get into the country and we have been on the phone all day sorting out the quickest resolution.

We are extremely let down with this situation and will keep you all updated as we hear more.

Usually you’ll see stories about US bands getting detained at the border. It’s interesting to see that it works the other way around as well. While they haven’t said anything further on Facebook, the band has since taken to Twitter to state that they’re not entirely off the tour:

So they’re down, but they’re not out. We’ll keep you updated. In the meantime, you can check out the tour dates here.
