We knew that Aaron Turner’s new band Sumac was going to be a beast. Their debut album, The Deal, came out this past February on Profound Lore Records, they’ve played a few shows, and soon they’ll be playing the Sled Island Festival in Canada in late June.
Then in August the band, which also includes drummer Nick Yacyshyn from Baptists, will be hitting the road and joining up with the mighty Neurosis and their recently announced tour with Brothers Of The Sonic Cloth, and The Body. That should be pretty amazing.
