Whitechapel announce album, release single, track listing and tour dates

Posted by on April 27, 2016

There’s been some controversy over the latest Whitechapel album. A few weeks ago, a rumor leaked that it would be all clean singing- and let’s be honest here, no one wanted that. While you could probably make an argument that Whitechapel really isn’t the same band they were when This is Exile was released- clean singing is the least deathcore thing we’ve ever heard of. And death (and deathcore, respectively) are two subgenres that are built on aggression, which primarily comes from screaming. As it turned out, there are only two songs featuring clean singing on this album- which we found out today is called Mark of the Blade. The band also released the title track, along the tracking listing and a shit-ton of tour dates. They’ll be on Warped Tour as well as a smaller one of their own with Fit For a King, The Plot in You and Enterprise Earth in 2016. The track listing is as follows:

The Void
Mark of the Blade
Elitist Ones
Bring Me Home
Tremors
A Killing Industry
Tormented
Brotherhood
Dwell in the Shadows
Venomous
Decennium
