A triad of demonic news from the Polish black / death metal band Behemoth. For one, the band will start rehearsing for their next album in September. There is no further information just yet as to when a new album could be released, but it could be assumed sometime early next year. Their last full-length album, Evangelion, was released in 2009.

The rehearsals are set in between quite a number of tour dates that will take the band across Europe as well as South America, make sure to check out the tour dates at the end of this article.

And apparently, you will soon have the possibility to drink the drink that makes the front man of the black and death metal combo as demonic as he is: Nergal will be endorsing the Demon Energy Drink. Nergal agreed to the endorsement on the terms that a portion of the proceeds will benefit the DKMS, a foundation that helps those in need of a bone marrow donation due to various types of blood cancer. Nergal comments on his endorsement:

Well, I decided to accept the offer to be a face of this energy drink called Demon. I’ve never been much of a fan of such drinks but I loved the idea behind it… the whole campaign is strongly connected with DKMS foundation (the one that found a bone marrow donor for myself). The percentage of sales will be donated to the foundation and will make this whole business worthwhile for me. Besides, I loved the name and a logo…so why the fuck not?

For further information on how to get involved visit the website of DKMS Americas.

Those are all devilishly good news from the band that has also been confirmed to participate in the Barge To Hell Cruise that will set sail on December 3. Since that is still a while down the road, make sure to check out the upcoming tour dates after the jump. We think it’s pretty awesome that Nergal admits he doesn’t like energy drinks, but is endorsing it anyway – plus it’s for a good cause. We’ll bet it sells well in Poland.
