It’s been almost a month since Jerry Gaskill was rushed to the hospital after suffering a heart attack. While he still has a long road ahead of him, Gaskill is slowly recovering well and will apparently be leaving the hospital and heading home tomorrow (March 21).
And earlier today, bassist/ frontman dUg Pinnick posted a picture (as seen above) of Gaskill during his visit yesterday. This marks the first time we’ve seen the drummer since the heart attack. Though the picture is a little blurry, Gaskill looks as though he’s in good spirits and doing well. Hopefully Gaskill’s condition will continue to do well.
In case you haven’t heard, Gaskill’s bandmates are offering a live digital album featuring recordings from a 1991 show in Boston. All of the proceeds from the album will go towards covering Gaskill’s medical bills. Go to MolkenMusic.com to buy the album, while additional gifts to help Gaskill’s medical expenses can be mailed to “Jerry Gaskill, c/o World Entertainment Inc., P.O. Box 3095, Sea Bright, NJ 07760.”
