Earlier this week, the initial lineup of the 17th annual New England Metal and Hardcore Festival was announced, with Testament, Exodus, Between the Buried and Me, Nuclear Assault and Nails among the first wave of announcements of bands playing. While the headliner for Sunday wasn’t in the initial announcement of the lineup, today it’s been announced that Motionless in White will head up the bill on Sunday.

Given that For Today, The Color Morale and My Ticket Home are the other three acts announced so far, it’s not that big of a surprise that a band like MiW would headline, and it’ll probably help out on the last day, which is more metalcore-centric.  So far, the lineup is pretty solid, and with many more bands to be announced, it should keep growing nicely.
