Wes Scantlin got himself in trouble, once again, and this time around, his stunt occurred off stage. Puddle of Mudd had no choice but to cancel their concert that was scheduled for Saturday night (9). The frontman made the nonsensical decision to carry a BB Gun at the LAX airport and his action ultimately led to his arrest.

TMZ reported:

“Wes Scantlin was busted at LAX Saturday after he tried boarding a plane with a BB gun.  He was taken to jail and booked.  His bail was a whopping $850,000.  It appears there were other charges as well.

Wes was trying to get from L.A. to Keller, Texas, where his band was scheduled to perform.  Without a lead singer, what’s the point, so they pulled the plug.”

Scantlin has an extensive history with onstage utbursts, not showing up to court and gigs. Hell, this isn’t even his isn’t his first arrest at an airport, because who can forget his fun ride on a luggage carousel? The question isn’t “when will Wes Scantlin get his shit together?” as much as it is “what club would still booking Puddle of Mudd and who would show up to see them play??
