By now, you may have heard about how As I Lay Dying members have a new project coming with vocalist Shane Blay of Oh, Sleeper. Wovenwar will debut its first full track next week, and while that’s all well and good, Blay took to Facebook to clarify about his participation in the group:

To put to rest the rumors that I’m leaving Oh Sleeper I tell you this: Micah and I started this band 8 years ago and have stayed with it through the thick and thin. That is still the case. Its tattoo’d on my chest for crying out loud. As long as Oh Sleeper is a band, I’ll be in it.

Granted, a tattoo of your band’s name on your chest doesn’t guarantee you’re in it forever. If that were that case, Tim “Ripper” Owens wouldn’t have such a huge resume (no offense). But that’s beside the point. If you thought Blay was leaving Oh, Sleeper, then no worries. Come to think of it, what are the chances of both bands going on tour? Time will tell.
