It hasn’t been a great year for The Ghost Inside. Last November, they were involved in one of the worst crashes we’ve ever seen. Two people were killed, drummer Andrew Tkaczyk lost his leg, and the rest of the band spent countless weeks in the hospital. While there seemed to be recent progress wth Tkaczyk posting a video online of him standing with just one leg, there’s been another devastating setback. Frontman Jonathan Vigil has been diagnosed with a bone infection. As if a broken neck and both ankles fractured wasn’t enough. Vigil posted to Instagram, saying he needed to stay positive, small setbacks happen to everyone. And hey, if the PMA doesn’t come from within, it doesn’t help anyone.

As it turns out my ankle bone is infected. So twice a day, for six weeks, I have to get antibiotics put into an IV in my arm before I can start my other surgeries. I know it could be a lot worse because I'm alive and not paralyzed, hence the smile on my face. Minor setbacks happen to everyone and I need to stay positive through it all. That's what the people closest to me keep reminding me of. Also, I know I lost a lot of weight in the accident so if you'll notice I'm trying to eat pizza to get it all back haha. It's not working whatsoever lol
