Pirate metal band Alestorm has released the soundtrack to Cinco de Mayo with their new video for their song “Mexico.” “Mexico” is the latest single from the bands upcoming album, No Grave But The Sea, following the self-titled single, “Alestorm.” The band commented on the song saying:
“Oh wow! It’s Cinco de Mayo, so let’s celebrate with a song dedicated to our favorite country in the world – MEXICO! Like most of our music, this song is about drinking, pirates, and explosions. And don’t worry, it’s not a real donkey, it’s just Bobo and Elliot in a donkey costume.”
May this day be filled with stolen donkeys, tacos, keyboard guitars, cacti, and pirates! (Note: we do not condone stealing donkeys.) No Grave But The Sea will be out on May 26th through Napalm Records. Alestorm will be playing multiple festivals in Europe before and after hopping on Vans Warped Tour all summer long.
