Best Music Videos of the Week Ending 1/20

Whether we like it or not, inauguration day has arrived and the United States is split between those in mourning and celebratory moods. What we can do is move away from politics and switch to what videos premiered this week. Here are this week’s top five.

5) Hellyeah,  “Love Falls”

Hellyeah surprised us today with the new music video for “Love Falls” off of their latest album, Unden!able that was released over the summer via Eleven Seven. It was directed by William “Wombat Felch” and the visuals in this piece are beyond stunning.

 

4) Zakk Wylde,  “Lost Prayer”

The man, the legend, Zakk Wylde premiered the video for “Lost Prayer” this week from his solo effort Book of Shadows II. The video was directed by Justin Reich, who is no stranger to Wylde and you can watch the full video below!

 

3)  Xandria,  “Call Of Destiny”

 

The German/Dutch symphonic metallers are incredibly busy promoting Theater of Dimensions out on January 27 via Napalm Records. This week is no different especially with the release of their new video for “Call of Destiny.”

 

 

2) September Mourning, “20 Below”

The comic book/metal band hybrid September Mourning is back with the new video “20 Below,” ensuring that no one should let anyone drag them down from unnecessary negativity. Continuing to support Volume II via Sumerian Records, the group unleashed the video to promote their upcoming tour with Dope, Combichrist, and Davey Suicide on the “Blood, Lust Death Tour,” set to kick off in March.

1) Oni,  “The Only Cure”

 

Lastly, Canadian progressive warriors Oni released a video for “The Only Cure” from their album Ironshore via Metal Blade. The song features Lamb of God singer Randy Blythe and so does the video! Check out this horror-esque imagery below!
