Black Crown Initiate are gearing up to release Violent Portraits of Doomed Escape and have dropped a new song from the record titled “Holy Silence.” The song was written back in 2008 before the band formed and guitarist/vocalist Andy Thomas has said the song is about creations and their connections.

“We had always wanted to use it. With [guitarist Ethan McKenna] returning to the band it felt right. The song deals with notions of a creator and our connections to whatever that force may be. I am particularly proud of James’ vocals and Ethan’s perfect guitar solo.”

Violent Portraits of Doomed Escape drops August 7th via Century Media. Pre-order the album here and check out “Holy Silence” below!
