Well, it’s safe to say that Black Veil Brides don’t enjoy being upstaged by their opening acts. Footage has surfaced of last night’s (25) show at the Vogue Theater in Vancouver, BC, with Biersack confronting a heckler that kept yelling for opening act Memphis May Fire. Two videos have surfaced of the incident, courtesy of Rockandmetalnewz. The first video starts with Biersack stopping the show, stating “are you gonna be real embarrased when a motherfucker wearing mascara knocks your fake ass out right now?” After challenging him to come onstage, the singer throws his microphone into the crowd, then jumps into the crowd going after the heckler.
It’s hard to see what, if anything, happens. Security jumps in after him, presumably to pull him off the fan. The second video is shot from a fan’s point of view, showing Biersack returning to the stage, victoriously pounding his chest. Neither video shows any contact being made, so it can be assumed that his display is for show only. And if he just did it for show, it appears to have worked. The largely female crowd screams in support, and websites around the world are reporting on Black Veil Brides, when many of them probably wouldn’t have done it normally.
