At the tail end of February, Mastodon, Baroness, and Gojira played a show in Melbourne, Australia at the Sidewave festival. During Baroness’s set, they acquired an extra guitarist, specifically Brent Hinds of Mastodon. Hinds got up on stage and joined the band in playing “A Horse Called Golgotha,” which is a great as you might expect. Maybe we’ll see more guest jamming like this when Mastodon takes on the States with Gojira and Kvelertak?
