Carnifex Nuclear BlastIt’s like Carnifex never took a break at all. The San Diego, CA deathcore heavy weights recently released a live performance video for the track “Hatred and Slaughter” from the album Die Without Hope, which came out earlier this year.

This is the bands first album with Nuclear Blast since returning from a less-than-a-year hiatus. Die Without Hope, their fifth album, and first after three albums with Victory Records, debuted at #98 on the Billboard Charts, their highest chart position and best first week sales ever.

Carnifex announced their hiatus back in late 2012, but rose from the dead to announce they were replacing Miss May I  on the ‘Never Say Die! Tour. They signed with Nuclear Blast a month later.
