Code Orange premiere “My World” 23-minute documentary

Code Orange have teamed up with Revolver to premiere their 23-minute documentary, My World. Footage was filmed over the last few years as the group were inspired by other documentaries from bands such as Type O Negative, Nine Inch Nails, Pantera, Manson, KMFDM. The band were also inspired by the anime series Ghost in the Shell and the 1999 film 8MM starring Nicolas Cage on snuff films. The group combined these elements together as they filmed and edited the video themselves. Additionally, the group’s Shade Balderose worked on the trippy post production effects.

Revolver interviewed the group as drummer/vocalist Jami Morgan revealed the band are working on a follow-up to 2017’s Forever.

He stated:

“We’re always working on stuff. I would say yes, we’re about done and we don’t necessarily like to look at it that way completely, but there are opportunities that have been coming up so we’ll see. I think we’re ready to move on, and we have a lot in store for next year.

We also don’t do records to have people pat us on the back and go, “They did a good job.” We don’t want a little expansion, we don’t want to grow five percent. We always try to grow 50 perfect, but it’s always a dice roll and I think we’ll be very happy with it. We’ll see what people think.”
