Deep Purple teamed up with Ultimate Classic Rock to premiere their first-ever animated video. The video is for the song “The Surprising” taken from their twentieth studio album inFinite, which was released earlier this year via earMUSIC. The animation takes the viewer on a journey as though you are watching the band’s extensive fifty-year history as you watch five heroes – Ian Gillan, Ian Paice, Roger Glover, Don Airey, and Steve Morse go through a stormy ship cruise full of allusions and eventually riding off into the sunset.
