Dethlehem are Oathbound in ridiculous video

Posted by on November 18, 2014

You can tell a video will be good when part of it’s description says “we are capable of creating uncomfortable videos that are only supposed to make a sliver of sense.” That’s how Dethlehem, who you might remember as being one of the finalists of our No Label Needed contest and series, described their video for “Oathbound,” which premiered earlier today on Metal Injection. There’s a bit of LARPing, which hysterically takes place at a park where there are confused onlookers, there’s also some black metal parts, women being sacrificed, and an ending so bizarre and probably NSFW that we’re not even going to attempt to explain it. The Pittsburgh band define themselves as “an RPG/Melodic/metal band,” and after seeing this video, we kinda get it.

Dethlehem’s album, Destroyers of the Realm, will be released on January 6, 2015, and you can find out more about them on their Bandcamp page.
