While this new album appears to be happening, there has been some confusion on the new GoFundMe campaign. Similar to previous Fear Factory updates, there has been a back and forth between members. This time around, it comes from frontman Burton C. Bell who chimed in via Instagram, stating he has no part with the GoFundMe page:
Cazares has since responded to clarify the situation along with sharing an update on what the new album will sound like:
On par to a Genexus production and sound but not similar concept. This new album concept is very pissed. I can not elaborate more it’s to soon https://t.co/k0sbQQDEeW

U can believe what u want but No one is making money on the side. The musicians and the production team need to be paid for there work. At the end of the day your going to love this record and the extra work we put into this to make it a classic FF album. https://t.co/A9Bt0xDOXx
