Filter frontman Richard Patrick says new album will be “Brian Eno-esque”

Filter are currently working on a new album, and it will be the complete opposite from 2016’s Crazy Eyes. Frontman Richard Patrick revealed the working title album, Sounds For Sloan And Other Restless Children will have a Brian Eno-esque sound. He says that while he’s had a few ambient tracks here and there on previous releases, yet never created a full-length ambient album. Filter posted a video on their Facebook page about it, with Patrick explaining he wantied to have more guitar and strange stuff, to hopefully put the listener in a dreamlike state.
