01) Abigail Williams streaming new song “I Will Depart,” new album arriving in November

Abigail Williams are not only joining Ensiferum and Kalmah on tour this November, but their next offering, Walk Beyond the Dark will finally arrive on November 15th via Blood Music. 

The group’s leader Ken Sorceron commented: 

“It’s been four years since the last album. That seems like quite a long time. Life, death, countless other musical endeavors, and all sorts of distractions kept getting in the way, delaying its completion again and again. Over that time, I wrote over 20 songs that I was actually pretty happy with. When it finally came time to record, I narrowed it down to the seven that appear here, as they seemed to fit the best together and make the statement I wanted to make here and now.”

To celebrate the upcoming effort, Abigail Williams unveiled the new song “I Will Depart.”

Sorceron recently spoke to Metal Hammer and explained his experience with The Faceless taught him how or how not to run a band:

“I quit The Faceless over a year ago now, and though it didn’t influence my song-writing at all, I definitely would say it taught me some things about how or how not to run a band. I still value some of the time I spent with that band, and the great guys that I played with who were very talented.”
