We’ve written about the Paschalis Theotokis  before. Under slightly more pronounceable name Gigalyric, he sang and played 99 Metallica songs in 10 minutes. He’s returned again, and this time, he and some friend have instead decided to take on Slipknot, “covering” six seconds of every song in their catalogue. In a tiny room, Theotokis and friends start out in a small room, even though there’s beer kegs and a mini record player and keyboard involved. By the time they make it to Vol 3. The Subliminal Verses, they’re in a field with drone footage, kind of echoing the album cover of All Hope Is Gone. It’s a little goofy, but fun to watch, and definitely the most ambitious Gigalyric video yet. It also dawned on us that there should be a Slipknot tribute band called Slipnot, but that’s just us.
