Fun fact: around the end of the year, the music industry slows down to the point where around December or so, there’s nothing but holiday music. Another fun fact: the news cycle slows down around then too. So we’re going to kill two birds with one stone and bring you “Hail Santa,” a YouTube parody of Ghost’s “Year Zero” done by the Wagoner Bros. Musically, it’s a pretty good approximation of the song. Lyrically, well, it’s kinda dumb, but it’s a parody of a song that itself is almost a parody. If you’re expecting pure brilliance from a holiday song parody, you’re doing it wrong, but this is definitely at least mildly amusing.
