If someone were to ask what Linkin Park and Psy have in common, one of our first answers would be that we haven’t thought about either in quite some time. Yet someone (namely Rosalinisama and Triple-Q) thought enough of last summer’s viral video hit and LP’s debut album Hybrid Theory, to make a mashup of the two. Psybrid Theory is no Gray Album, mainly because Psy and Linkin Park are no Jay Z or Beatles. And especially since the album only uses “Gangam Style” against all of the tracks on Hybrid Theory. However, it’s really well done, and if you have any affinity for Linkin Park (come on, they sold 10 million albums sold, they were probably a gateway drug to metal for some people), it’s worth checking out. “One Style Closer” is above, and you can check out “Gangamcut below.
