Judas Priest are still damn close to the top of their game over 40 years strong into their career. Listen to Rob Halford’s voice, not to mention the command he has of the stage. And look at the way the rest of the band plays the Wacken Festival in front of tens of thousands of people like it’s no big deal.  Guitarist Richie Faulkner stepped up to the plate when K. K. Downing left the band without any real noticeable difference. When Battle Cry is released next Friday (25), you’ll be able to see the band’s 2014 Wacken Fest performance in its entirety on DVD, and listen to the majority of it on CD.
