KEN Mode are officially blessed

Posted by on March 30, 2015

The official debut video from KEN Mode’s new album Success just came out and it’s been worth the wait. We’ve heard “Blessed” before, but now we get to hear the Steve Albini (Nirvana, Oxbow, Zao) produced track with visuals by director Christopher Mills, who has worked with Tegan & Sara, Rush, Interpol, and Modest Mouse.

Vocalist and guitarist Jesse Matthewson told Exclaim about the new album:

“A decidedly stripped-down northern noise rock apocalypse to be unleashed on the world. Time to take this back to our roots.”

Vocalist Eugene Robinson of Oxbow and members of grindcore band Full of Hell will appear on Success, which is due out June 16th (pre-order here), their second release on Season of Mist. The is the band’s follow up to 2013s Entrench, which was produced by another heavyweight producer, Matt Bayles (Mastodon, Isis, Russian Circles).
