Killer Be Killed, the supergroup featuring Soulfly’s Max Cavalera, The Dillinger Escape Plan’s Greg Puciato, Mastodon’s Troy Sanders, and Converge’s Ben Koller, is teasing a big announcement

On Monday (31), the band posted a 24-second teaser video featuring heart-pounding instrumentals and a reveal date of September 4, leading one to speculate that new music could be on the way later this week.

Back in 2018, Cavalera confirmed that Killer Be Killed was working on their sophomore album. He told Metal Underground in August of that year:

“We already demoed for it; we got 10 songs out of it. [It came out] fantastic. Troy is more involved, which is what I wanted from the beginning. So that’s gonna be great.”

This will be the band’s first album to feature Koller, who joined in 2015 after drummer Dave Elitch left due to scheduling conflicts with his current band Antemasque.

Killer Be Killed released their self-titled debut album in 2014. The album sold approximately 5,500 units, placing it at number 58 on the Billboard 200 upon release.
